As most of you might already know, Michelin guide is a series of annually published books on good food. The list of restaurants changes each year, hence they publish their books on a yearly basis. This is to ensure the standard is maintained. Restaurants can lose their star or gain a star.
Michelin rates 1 to 3 stars for good food. 1 Star being good, 2 Stars being excellent cuisine and 3 will be amazing extraordinary food.
In order for restaurants to be awarded a star, they have to be consistent in their food standards.
There are also restaurants that do not have a star but they are recommended by Michelin, and its called Bib Gourmand. Bib gourmand is given to restaurants that offer good quality food and their value. (not too expensive)
