The reason why we decided to try this restaurant was because they provide cooking lessons and it was good to know if its nice.
The food is far from nice and it was so overpriced and I felt being ripped off because seafood places like Loaf on and Happy Seafood at Yau Tong was miles ahead of this one. It was really disappointing as it was not value for money and food was average.
So, we had their recommended crispy duck. But the duck skin still had fat on it, it came nothing near Fook Lam Moon crispy chicken. And the meat was oily and tough.
The soup was overpriced. I could get this standard of soup at Crystal Jade or other cheaper restaurants.
What was most disappointing was their razor clams with garlic. Miles and miles away from Loaf On’s garlic scallops or even Happy Seafood black bean razor clams at the fraction of their price!
And, the melon fried with squid and scallops. The squid is badly overcooked, can’t compare to Michelin ones that are soft and nice.
This dish is way overpriced. I don’t mind paying good money for good food, and this place is not one of them.
