Hong Kong Flower Show

This weekend I managed to visit the HK Flower Show, held at Victoria Park Causeway Bay. I think the best time to go is definitely early morning  or during lunch time on a weekend.

I went during lunch hours and there was enough space to move around, but when I left, the crowd started to move into Victoria Park.

Admission Fee was HKD14 and you can pay using Octopus.

Directions: I always prefer to exit via Tin Hau station as I realise there are lesser people at this end of the Park. Tin Hau Exit A2, turn left, cross the small traffic light, turn left towards Victoria Park.

If you have time, you can walk along the stretch of Electric Road. Just outside Exit A2 of Tin Hau MTR station. There is a high level of activity there both at night and in the day. Its packed with restaurants of all cuisine and many great Chinese dessert shops. It reminds me of Siglap or Holland Village in Singapore.

Here are some photos,

Will I visit this flower show if I am tight on time and not a flower enthusiast ?

Probably not, as it was quite packed and some of the flowers on display were withering. But if you have time, they have an interesting array of flowers that look like hybrids for viewing.

The flower show is open until 24th March 2013. Open daily from 9am to 9pm.
