Atmosphere:   The restaurant decor looks like a throw back to the past. The curtains the conceal the interiors of the restaurant actually takes you away into another world.

Service:  Service is average.

Directions: Causeway Bay Exit F, turn right, walk into Yun Ping Road @second lane ( first lane is packed with cart stores), turn right into the first lane you see. You should see that is Pak Sha Lane, its relatively quiet. Its not easy to find this restaurant because the curtains cover the windows. IMG_2069

This is the first Western restaurant opened by a Chinese in 1860.

I like the beef hor fan, its well cooked, its not oily and has big flavours. It tastes a little bit like our Char Kway Teow.

The taste of the roast pigeon taste quite average. But the texture of the meat is very soft and well cooked. I also read that Chiang Kai shek and Zhou Enlai also enjoyed the Swiss Sauce Chicken Wings and Roast Pigeon.

The Swiss Sauce Chicken Wings is nice. Its sweet and salty. I read that whenever Jay Chou visits, he will order this dish!

I will probably go back to try out other items on their menu and the beef kway teow.
