I really wanted to like Chez Patrick given that I hear that one of my ex colleagues co-own this chain. And I haven’t had a bad french meal yet.
Maybe its a deli, maybe the restaurant is better. But I wouldnt risk the money to try the restaurant.
The prices are reasonable. The environment is ok, given that its a deli.
The appetizers are nice. We ordered the Quiche Lorraine which was yummy. Fresh Mediterranean sardine and tomato tart was nice and fresh.
The mains was disappointing. The dishes feels like its been cooked a long time ago and reheated.
The Chicken “Forestière” with breast meat was so dry and tough that I did not even touch it after 3 bites.
The chef recommended Pluma de Pata Negra (Iberico pork end loin marinated in Espelette pepper with tomato Provençale & mashed potatoes) was also dry and cold.
